Nitro enjoys trail riding both alone and in a group. He is brave enough to lead but will happily follow in back or pony other horses. He is relatively new to jumping but likes cross country schooling and hunter paces. The endurance rides have been our latest addition. Nitro has completed several AERC 25-mile endurance rides and received good remarks from the vets on soundness, vitals, gait, impulsion, attitude, and pulse-down times. We don’t go for speed, just a steady pace for ride completion. Nitro is surefooted and sound barefoot over the roughest terrain. He is more of a push ride unless he is following other horses and keeping their pace. He is kept fully body clipped to keep cool while riding in our hot, humid climate. Nitro would be ideal for a confident, good-riding teen or adult who wants a fit, sporty Gypsy. He is not suitable for nervous/timid riders, children, or beginners. He is an easy keeper with tough rock-crunching barefoot hooves and is UTD on everything. Please contact Rachel at 813-335-1950 with any questions. Hunt references available.
